There are four types of memberships that
depend on your status:
- Full Membership
- Associate Membership
- Sole Trader Membership
- Tradesperson Membership
Description Of Categories:
Full
- This category is for those companies who
have a contracting business in the refridgeration,
heating, ventilation and air conditioning
industry with an ABN, who employ staff to
carry out their business
Associate - This category is for those companies
who have an associated business, other than
contracting in the refrigeration, heating,
ventilation and air conditioning industry.
Sole Trader - This category is for those
companies who have a contracting business
in the refridgeration, heating, ventilation
and air conditioning industry with an ABN,
who do not employ any other staff.
Tradesperson
- This category is for tradespeople in the
refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air
conditioning industry.
By completing an online membership form,
you are in agreeance that you desire to become
a member of the Refrigeration an Air Conditioning
Contractors' Association of Western Australia
and do hereby promise and agree that you will
conform to the By-Laws and Regulations of
the said Association, as such By-Laws and
Regulations are now formed or as they may
hereafter be altered, amended or enlarged.
You also agree to promise to promote the
objects of the said Association as far as
shall be in your power.
If you cannot abide by the terms set out
in the statement above or our code of ethics
(please see "Code of ethics" below),
do not proceed in submitting the form.
Code of ethics:
I Instill by example the
highest respect for our industry within our
community;
N Necessitate strict compliance
to all laws prescribed by Federal, State,
and Municipal Governments pertaining to our
business;
T To maintain a clean, respectable,
well-identified place of business commensurate
with the high standards of our trade;
E Engineer, design, install
and service refrigeration, air conditioning
and heating systems in accordance with proper
recommended practices;
G Generate an understanding
of proper equipment selection that would assure
the customer of safe, dependable, and comfortable
performance;
R Resolve to uphold the highest
ethical standards of selling advertising,
pricing, installation and service guided by
the principles of honesty and integrity;
I Increase efficiency through
participation in education programmes and
contribute a portion of our time and thought
to the advancement of our industry through
our association;
T To promote the growth of
the industry through closer co-operation
between our Association and the manufacturers,
wholesalers and utilities serving our industry;
Y Yield a policy of efficient
and honest service
